Opullex core consists of creative luxury metalwork, vision, signature design, and customizable crafts. Our recent custom project, commissioning commemorative medals for a client’s landmark 50-year event, showcases Opullex’s mix (or even better said - fusion) of creativity and technical mastery.

The goal was to create something recognizable in its shape (a medal), combined with what we do best - custom design and uniqueness. The centerpiece of this project is the application of a genuine 24-carat gold surface, ensuring every medal is both a trophy and an objet d’art.

The Initial Vision and Creative Collaboration

Every Opullex bespoke project begins with a collaborative exchange. In this case, Idea Plus approached us with a project proposal for their premium clients, marking a very special milestone - jubilee birthdays for three employees. For this milestone event, the client sought commemorative medals that blended luxury, legacy, and modern art.

The Opullex team worked closely with the client to conceptualize a design that boldly integrates symbolism, the “50 Years” motif, while employing cutout techniques, visual elements, and contemporary typography. The process ensured the medals look and feel luxurious in any way possible.

What truly sets these medals apart is their surface: a gleaming 24-carat gold finish, to create a visually stunning piece that shines with value and exclusivity. Gold layering was carefully applied to create a lasting, brilliant sheen, providing an irresistible appeal while maintaining durability for long-term preservation.

Creative Method and Fabrication

Just like any other project, we started with a sketch that captured the initial idea, and worked further to deliver the final product at its best. Once we had the idea, the realization was easy and predictable, following these steps:

• Precision metal cutting achieves intricate design elements, such as the integrated “50” numerals and bespoke badge silhouette.

• The medals are polished to a mirror finish before gold plating, producing a flawless reflective surface.

• Engraving and etching techniques are used to add custom messaging and event branding, as seen in the “RUNNING STRONG” theme.

• A custom ribbon, printed with “POWERED BY ENERGY,” further personalizes each medal, turning every detail into a piece of brand storytelling.
